Hello, my lovely friends! 🌸

ree

Excitement is building here at The Studio Gallery as we prepare for the opening exhibition by the wonderfully talented illustrator Chris Dunn.

Above is a small detail from Chris’s enchanting painting “Badger in the Cow Parsley.”

I’ve always believed that art has a special power to connect people — and Chris’s work, particularly his illustrations for The Wind in the Willows, embodies that magic. His paintings are filled with nostalgic charm, evoking the golden summers of childhood.

Even as winter draws near, his art seems to hold the light for us a little longer.

It’s truly an honour to showcase Chris’s work here in my little gallery — he is, without question, one of the most gifted artists I’ve ever met.

The exhibition runs from 15th November to 14th December, and Chris will be joining us in the gallery from 2pm on Saturday 15th to sign books and chat about his creative process. I do hope you’ll come along — it promises to be a wonderful afternoon.

The Studio Gallery, 5 Church Street, Bradford-on-Avon, BA15 1LN

For the duration of Chris's exhibition I will be open

Introducing Mark Robertson

Chris’s fantastic paintings will be joined by the wonderful work of my recent discovery — children’s illustrator Mark Robertson.

Although Mark has been illustrating for some time, I somehow (by some small miracle!) managed to miss his work until recently. Imagine my delight when I not only discovered his beautiful books, but also realised that he’s a fellow resident of Bradford-on-Avon!

Mark paints dragons — so, of course, I simply had to have him in the gallery.

Here are a few stunning examples of his work.

Mark will also be doing a book signing - dates to be confirmed.

Please feel free to share any of this information and thank you for any feedback you might have.

Until next time, good luck to you all.
