I have always loved stories, especially reading children's books, which I still do, classical myths, folklore story telling and performance. I simply love entering the other world created by stories, where I can take off my overcoat of the everyday and let my imagination run free. If a story is richly detailed, the better I like it! I want a story to allow me to created an intricate, exquisite image, a rich tapestry of form, line, colour and shade.
