"She put her hand on the tiger's flank and the tiger licked it. 'Look,' and the child. "He won't hurt us. Come and see."

Fay stared at the child and her tiger. The animal's pads were large enough to cover the whole of the little girl's head. But the child seemed so certain of herself, one hand in the tiger's fur, the other extended to welcome Fay."

I will let you into my little secret, both Joanne and I have a thing about tigers! I have painted several in the past that are now all in private collections around the world, but this one is perhaps my favourite. Did you know that with male tigers, the length of the side facial whispers indecates age, so in this case our tiger is an old, wise beast.

The Fae Child and Tiger

  • "The  Fae Child and Tiger" is printed on A3 size paper, that is 410mm tall by 297mm wide. Although I can not recommand any particuler style of framing, it is usually possible to find ready made frames for this size of drawing.

The drawing is printed on a Fine Art bright white smooth matt paper. The paper is 100% cotton, acid free and archival. The inks are water-based and environmentally friendly.
